When ordering meals please take note of the following abbreviations regarding allergies and intolerances:
V – vegetarian, DF – Dairy Free, SP/F – Special Free (free from most allergens)
We can also cater for most allergies, please let us know if your child requires one of the specially taylored allergy menus.
Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM)
We are able to provide cooked meals for all our Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils.
The lunches are prepared and cooked in house and are of a high standard. The menus work on a 3 week rotation. Parents pre-order their children’s lunches on Parent Pay.
Piskula Catering provide our lunches and cater for all food allergies and intolerances.
Free School Meals (FSM)
If you are in receipt of Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) – Income Based you are entitled to receive a free school meal for your child. Application forms are available on line and held in the School Office. All information is kept in strict confidence.
Healthy Eating
WE ARE A NUT FREE AND ORANGE FREE SCHOOL
We actively encourage a healthy balanced diet. Please ensure that drinks are in plastic bottles (not fizzy). We are a no nut and no orange school as we have severe nut and orange allergies within our school
. Please do not send in sweets or chocolate bars to school. We thank you for your cooperation with this.
We have our own kitchen on the school site that provides a wonderful hot menu each day and is excellent value costing just £2.70.
We have a four week rolling menu and these are displayed around the school and at the entrances into the school.
We also offer a balanced packed lunch for school visits and as an alternative to a hot meal.
